Welcome to Sjotunet in Hardanger

Welcome to Sjøtuncabins on the Hardanger fjord.

At Rykkje, 5 km from Øystese towards Fyksesund, you will find “Sjoeloftet”, “Packinghouse” and “Boathouse”, three fully-equipped cabins.
In Øystese there are shops, hotels and restaurants and the art gallery Kabuso. The distance to Bergen is 85 miles, approximately 1.5 hours by bus or car. The bus stop at Rykkje is close by.
The cabins are located on an old trading place / farm by the Hardangerfjord with views over the fjord and glacier, Folgefonn. There are separate outdoor areas for each of the cottages. There are boats for hire and opportunities for using kayaks for paddling.
The place is a good starting point for walks in the wilderness, mountains and fjords.

Pakkhuset

"Pakkhuset" built in 2010 is 80 m2. Accommodations for 6 or 7pers., Living room with large kitchen, 1 bedroom first floor, 2 bedrooms second floor, single or double beds.
Veranda facing the fjord. The cabin has very high standard and is suitable for the Disabled.
Parking at the cabin.

Sitting room with kitchenette, 1.bedroom with a double bed, 1. bedroom with 2 single beds, sleeping loft with room for two. Bathroom w/ shower and WC.
We also include: washing machine, coffee percolator and TV, access to freezer, garden furniture, and parking space by the cabin.

Naustet 2 (4) persons

The "Naustet" (boat house) has room for 2 adults and 2 children. It was built in 1997 and is 30 m2.
It includes sitting room with kitchenette, two wide beds, a bathroom with shower and WC.
We also include: TV and coffee percolator, access to freezer, parking by the cabin.
